What: Rockin’ Jimmy’s Car Show
Where: Anglican Church, 47-57 East St, Jimboomba
When: 9:00am to 2:00pm Saturday 9 July 

About: Now in its ninth year, the annual Rockin’ Jimmy’s Car Show is set to bring the sleepy country town of Jimboomba to life. Having grown in just the few short years, over 1200 people and 180 cars were part of the event in 2021, which included an array of cars, markets, rockabilly fashion parade, a dedicated KidsLand, as well as live music, dancing and food.

What: OutKast Cruise Peninsula Motorfest
Where: Pelican Park, Clontarf
When: 7:00am to 2:00pm Saturday 23 July 

About: Although the Redcliffe region comes alive for the annual Peninsula Motorfest held in November, revheads who want more now have the opportunity to do so. Hosted by Outkast Auto Club, car lovers can enjoy a club cruise and show and shine, as well as plenty of food stalls, entertainment and more. 

What: All Ford Day South East Queensland
Where: Queensland Raceway, 133 Champions Way, Willowbank
When: 6:00am to 3:30pm Saturday 23 July 

About: Recognised for the quality, value, and efficiency of the Ford line of vehicles, it’s fair to say that many Aussies identify as Ford lovers. Now, Queensland Raceway has dedicated an entire day to celebrate this group, and the All Ford Day will include a car display, swap meet, track time, trade stands, entertainment, food and drinks. 

What: GreazeFest 2022
Where: Redlands Showgrounds, Long Street, Cleveland
When: 7:00pm Friday 29 July to 6:00pm Sunday 31 July 

About: GreazeFest is the top-notch nostalgia event in the Southern Hemisphere, where thousands of rockabilly and hot rod fans roll up for a massive dose of ultra-kool action. The annual event delivers an exciting weekend of cool cars, rockabilly bands, DJs, fashion parades, pinups, vintage bikes, lowrider cycles, art shows, workshops, competitions and more. 

What: All Asian Cars Track Day
Where: Lakeside Park Raceway, Lakeside Road, Kurwongbah
When: 6:00am to 4:00pm Sunday 3 July 

About: Asian car brands continue to dominate consumer reports for the most reliable cars. For lovers of skylines, drifting and all things speed, the good news is that there’s now a dedicated day to this niche group of car lovers. Open to all Asian built vehicles, the day is set to include over three hours of cruising, a show n’ shine, sprints and entertainment!
